Bio:
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and raised most of his life by Andre Cymone (national recording artist/musician/songwriter/producer), Jay Espinoza aka “The FundRaiser” is no stranger to the music industry. Being exposed to the art at a very early age, Jay soon developed an interest in creating compilation CD’s that later would be known as mixtapes. Creating a small buzz around his mixtape collection among family and friends, Jay began freelancing as a DJ at private events and weddings.
After a few years of networking and developing a good reputation, Jay began promoting and DJing at various local nightclubs around the downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul areas. With his influence involving a plethora of genres from old and new school hip-hop/R&B and funk, to pop and rock, Jay’s ear for good music and ability to move a crowd has earned him rank amongst some of the top DJ’s in Minnesota.
The Fundraiser is available for nightclub events, concerts, private events, and mixtape hosting.
